Ask us to delete your information
Qnow is an appointment booking service used by businesses. If you booked an appointment with a business that uses Qnow, or you run a business on Qnow, you can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. Send an email to admin@kssoftware.com.lk with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:
Your full name.
The phone number you used when booking, or the email you use to sign in to Qnow.
The name of the business you booked with, if you booked as a client.
What happens next
- We may reply to confirm that the request comes from you, for example by asking you to send it from the same email address or to confirm the phone number.
- Once confirmed, we delete or anonymise your personal information from Qnow, including your name, phone number, WhatsApp number and booking details.
- We reply to tell you it is done. We aim to finish within 30 days of confirming your request.
What we may keep
We may keep limited records where the law requires it, for example records needed for tax or accounting, or to resolve a dispute. Copies held in backups are removed as those backups are replaced in the normal course.
Stopping messages without deleting your data
If you only want to stop receiving WhatsApp or SMS messages, tell the business you booked with, or email us and we will pass the request on.
